Learn about our different types of classes and who they are designed for.
Our classes are designed for beginners who want to experience pottery in a welcoming, social and hands-on environment. Classes range from 2 - 3 hours in duration and the goal is that you leave with some self-made pieces and a glimpse into the world of clay.
Interested in trying the pottery wheel? Sign up for our two-hour Saturday Morning: Introduction to Throwing class or, better yet, grab a few girlfriends and book in for Wheel & Wine.
Think you might prefer hand building? See what it’s all about with our fun, easy-to-follow intro classes, such as Mugs & Mimosas and Vases & Vino.
All classes kick off with a basic rundown of the ceramic process, and then you will have plenty of time to get your hands dirty.
At the end of the class you'll be able to choose how you would like to have your pieces glazed (we have several different house glazes to choose from). We will then fire and glaze your pieces for you, and you'll be able to come back two weeks later to collect them.
All clay, materials, glaze and firing costs are included in the pricing.
Our four-week courses are designed for those who want to further develop their ceramic skills. We have a range of beginner and intermediate courses in both wheel throwing and hand building.
Not sure where to start? Our Introduction to Ceramics: 4 Week Taster Course will give you the opportunity to try it all, including both hand building and throwing on the wheel.
All clay, materials, glaze and firing costs are included with your course.
Having trouble with centering? Wondering how to pull and attach a handle?
Our tutoring sessions are perfect for those who have either completed one of our courses or already have some experience, but are looking for extra guidance.
Have you always wanted to participate in a Raku Firing? Or maybe you would love to learn more about surface decoration?
With new workshops being released each month, you’ll have the chance to explore all different kinds of ceramic techniques.
Perfect for beginners as well as more advanced students.
Unleash your children’s creativity with our fun and engaging school holiday hand building workshops.
