When is the studio open?
We'll be pouring coffees and covered in clay seven days a week. Whether you're chasing a coffee or looking to have a chat about our classes, one of our friendly team members will be available to assist you.
Daily: 6:30am - 2:00pm
Scheduled classes run throughout the week at various times. Please refer to the calendar above for specifc dates and times.
How do I reschedule or cancel my class?
We have a strict seven-day cancellation policy.
If less than seven days' notice is given, we will be unable to offer a refund, however, we are able to offer you a credit.
Please note, cancellations within 48 hours of your class will receive no refund or credit. We are a small studio, with very small, intimate classes, and it is unlikely that with less than 48 hours notice we will be able to fill your seat.
You are more than welcome to send a friend in your place. Just shoot us an email and let us know.
If more than seven day’s notice is given, you are more than welcome to reschedule your class or request a full refund. Please contact us to request the rescheduling of your class.
What should I wear?
You will most definitely get a little muddy. We do have aprons available, but we suggest wearing something that you don't mind getting a little dirty.
What should I bring?
If you have signed up for one of our classes or courses, you don't need to bring anything with you. We will provide you with an apron, as well as all of the tools and materials required.
For the time being, the following classes are BYOB: Vases & Vino, Mugs & Mimosas, Wheel & Wine, Date Night.
Where do I park?
Not to worry, there is ample parking around the studio, including three-hour parking along both sides of Marine Parade.
Are children allowed?
There are inherent dangers that come with running a pottery studio, including sharp tools and very hot equipment. For this reason, you must be 15 years of age or older to book into our classes, courses or workshops.
However, children are more than welcome to be in our cafe area, if supervised by an adult.
If you have children under the age of 15 that are interested in ceramics, we do offer kids workshops over the school holidays. We also have pottery kits for kids available for sale, which include air-dry clay, pottery tools, and craft accessories as well as fun, easy-to-follow how-to videos.
Do you offer a firing service?
Our studio is membership based. Members have full access to our studio equipment, glazes and firing services.
The cost of firing depends on the size of your piece. This can be anywhere from $1.00 - $15.00.
