It started with the question, ‘What is winter in Australia?’. To us, that is slowness. The sun rises later and sets earlier, the cold begins to settle as the sun peeks through the crisp breeze. It’s the time of year when we take a step back and embrace the simplicity that these changes bring.

The tones of nature become softer, showing their raw beauty in simple forms, like the frosty-light green of the gum trees, the sandy-white beaches against the crystal clear water, and the deep red of Australia’s red dirt.

Winter is one of the only seasons in Australia where we really get to embrace the cold and rest in the quiet rituals of a warm morning tea or cosy afternoons lit by soft, inviting light.

We wanted to not only bring a workshop that embraced the beauties of winter but, functional pieces that could help bring in that light and warmth and to make those winter rituals extra special.

We really wanted to bring something new and fresh to the table. Some things that we have never explored before in our beginner offering and revisiting others that we love but in new and exciting ways.

We hope that you enjoy these workshops as much as we have.
